The Table of Contents of my Latin 1A Workbook: Workbook TOC FEATURES of the ONLINE MLC With the following features, it solves many of the problems we have with a F2F (face to face) classroom: 1- You can come in your nightgown! Or gym shorts--or whatever! 2- Each student can set the thermostat just the way they like it. 3- The whiteboard is easily viewable from every seat, and students can also "write on the board." You can also view any file, picture, or website I have on my desktop. 4- The sessions are recorded, so that if someone misses they can review it! 5- Everyone has a chance to discuss or ask questions through a mic or type in chat box (if you don't have a mic) during discussion time. 6- And--last but not least! It doesn't require a car or the purchase of ANY gasoline! HOMEWORK Unless you are auditing, when you turn in homework, you will receive feedback during the week via EMAIL! Homework assignments will be due between the Online Sessions. Assignments should be sent to me via email and I will grade them as quickly as I can and send it back to you, with explanatory notes if needed. I usually get them back within 24 hours. LATIN CONCEPTS COVERED are found in the first 10 chapters (and some of Chs 11& 12) of Wheelock's Latin. The goal is to master the foundational concepts found in the first few chapters of Wheelock's along with getting an overview of how all Latin verbs and nouns work. This course prepares you well to teach Introductory Latin to your young homeschoolers. Details coming soon: Summer CRASH Course in Wheelock's LatinThis summer 2010 we will be studying Wheelock's Chapters 1-12.Plus, there will be an advanced session for those who need to go further than this. teaching Latin for over 10 years, in two schools

homeschooling during part of that time,
too. At home and in all the various tutoring
situations, I've used just about any curriculum you can name!
Henle, Wheelocks, Memoria Press, Canon Press, Latin for
Children, and more! My BA degree is in English
and I studied Latin for a year at UNCC (and
then on my own for several years
thereafter).
